Our Founder / General Secretary

Mr. Vibhuti Raman Acharya, the Founding General Secretary of the National Youth Foundation, is a dedicated social development professional with a strong academic background—a Graduate in Commerce and Post-Graduate in NGO Management. His journey in the social sector began with a clear mission to empower marginalized communities and create sustainable impact at the grassroots level.

In 2006, he launched the pioneering “Mahila Udyamita Vikas Yojna”, a rural women entrepreneurship initiative aimed at promoting cottage industries and fostering financial independence among women. The project earned national recognition and positively transformed the lives of thousands of women across remote regions of Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

Driven by a vision to unite young minds for nation-building, Mr. Acharya founded the National Youth Foundation on 19th June 2007, along with a group of like-minded professionals. His core objective was to create a national platform for youth—irrespective of region, language, or background—where they could collaborate, contribute, and participate in constructive social development with a spirit of fraternity and mutual harmony.

Under his leadership, the Foundation continues to expand its outreach in the areas of Healthcare, Education, Livelihood Promotion, and Art & Culture, touching countless lives across India.

Mr. Acharya is actively associated with several renowned organizations as a Director, Executive Member, and Advisor. He is also passionate about cultural and intellectual events, including seminars, theatre activities, and film festivals.
